The date will be noted.  The day the Judges split 4-4 of just what constitutes a Government Mandate for Obamacare.  The split doesn't count.  One more vote needed.  The deciding vote was cast.  It was cast by Justice Roberts.....the man appointed by President George Bush.   He changed the course of American history.  His vote upheld a mandate...a government mandate.  A mandate applied to all....regardless of belief or support or counsel from colleagues or doctors...or the 26 American States who filed lawsuits opposing such a mandate. He changed the topic from "mandate' to Tax.   His vote "taxed" every "working" American.

So what?   I have a major "so what" to speak.  Roberts re-framing of the topic from "forced to buy" to "taxed" imposed a new TRILLION dollar tax....not equally spread  nor fairly spread but a targeted tax on working Americans...retired Americans and young people trying to enter the work world.  Exempt however, are the illegal aliens , the free-loaders, the welfare pays off crowd and the entitlement folks.   These 30-40 million "takers" will benefit greatly at the expense of the working people of the Country.  The already struggling ....close to foreclosure....working two jobs folks....can just suck it up and keep paying!!!

Almost lost in the mandate talk are the Spiritual implications.  Obama spoke in 2009 and 2010 of "not a tax"...and "keep your doctor" and "no money spent for abortions nor birth control".  Remember the State of the Union address??   Well.....thanks to Justice Roberts.....not only is this now a publicly declared  tax.....but "TS" if you are not in favor of your tax money going to abortions...planned parenthood agendas or free birth control on demand.  The thing which sours  most freedom-loving Americans is bigger and bigger controlling government.  Our Supreme Count today...created a precedent  for more and more intrusion and mandates. Their decision becomes a rallying point for the radicals, abortionists and socialists. Now,Democrats have to run for office on the TRILLION DOLLAR tax precedent set by the court.  Maybe..some thanks is due to Justice Roberts.  As Medicaid demands crush our Healthcare System...we all get to pay.  How's that for a platform to run on.." Vote for me..I'm for a trillion dollar new tax...and oh... BTW...I'm for open borders to bring more applicants for your tax dollars!!".

The next 5 months will prove my case.  A trillion dollar new cost to taxpayers added to 16 trillion dollars in debt currently...and this will be hailed as a presidential victory...a mandate to tax America more....to join the Italy, Spain and Greece socialists.  The operating  idea is to get a  vocal and mobilized minority voting block...legal or illegal...reduce the middle-class....crush the spirit of the next generation of workers and finally....make America more dependent upon our government.  In case you missed it....this is right out of the Saul Alinsky "playbook" on How to Bring Down America.

So.....as the dems smile.....and pat each other on the back.....the Socialist radicals also smile and re-double their efforts to CHANGE (read: destroy) America.  Alinsky said it will work....if a dedicated group spares nothing and creates a "will-of-the-people" appearance to mandates....America will Fall. Obamacare is truly a Trojan Horse...spilling out hordes of sinister rules...regulations....and taxes.....as the left-wing cheers.

I know that people visit the White House.  People line up with passes to tour the White House.  Some guests get to stand on the lawn as Foreign Dignitaries visit.  Years ago, I stood in that line and "sort of" saw the Russian President visit George Bush, Sr.  Very impressive.

Recently under the current administration, other "guests" show up at the White House.  A more personal invite comes from the President.  His czars show up regularly.  His political friends come.  The influence sellers and pushers come with invitation.  The "political pressure" groups come.  I don't begrudge the invited ones.  Heck....the Boston Bruins Hockey Team came .....and I can't stand them. Go Kings!!!  Although, I have new respect for Tim Thomas.

Today, 6-22-12,  I saw on several Conservative news postings that another group came to visit the President at the White House.  The gay and lesbian coalition leadership was invited.  They came.  By the way,  I did NOT see any coverage of the event I'm writing about on Network News...not one!!!!  Two of the G/L leaders "gave the finger" to the photo of Ronald Reagan and photographed it in order to memorialize their anger and hate....seems I missed the "Tolerance" symbolism statements.  The president has made no comment on the "finger" photo by his friends.

I'm not only disappointed  (again) in our current president's choice of close friends (read: Wright, Ayers, Sterns...others) but outraged at the hypocrisy America sees from this group displayed against another president's image ....in the White House ....as invited guests.  This is the group who loves to promote their "just" cause.  Ironically, they call for America's pastors to be charged for "hate crimes" if they speak against their lifestyle and about the Bible's position in front of their congregations.  This group's leaders....however...are free to express their personal and PUBLIC hate and anger....against a former president of the United States....and flaunt it!

Does anybody see a problem with this group's leadership....with this current president's choice of friends? Do you see the hypocrisy??? Would you see a problem with voting for his re-election....and four more years of this?????

Like most of America, I was daily following the Watergate Break-in....back in the day.  John Dean....Charles Colson....Sam Ervin (D)...investigated the affair for the government......Haldeman....and there were many more names which became well-known.  Arrests....resignations....whistle blowers....Presidential resignation!!!  Nightly....some new twist was revealed in the Watergate Affair.  This was supposed to be a "no big deal" event.  It was just part of finding out "dirt" on the other political party.

Eventually America would find out every detail in the break-in.  Men went to prison.  The President knew about it.  He was briefed.  Every effort was made by the Republicans to suppress the details....but he knew.
The drumbeat from the democrats was relentless.  This strange name, WATERGATE, would change America.  The democrats controlled the House and Senate and they persisted.  The initial shreds of conflicting testimony kept leading to deeper things.  The denials became admissions. Sen. Ervin pressed on! The questions began to have answers. No one was exempt from the law!  Richard Nixon resigned the Presidency of the United States.

Today.....my puzzlement rises over the claims by the current White House, that this is nothing...the "need to know" details have been supplied to the investigators. There are calls from the party in power to move forward to "real matters of importance". I swear I've heard these lines before. "It's just politics".  The democrats say that its a minor incident...being abused by the detractors of Mr. Obama.  However....gun's were "walked" across the border to Mexico.  The guns ended up in the hands of thugs and drug dealers.  The Government -supplied guns were found at the murder scene of an American Border agent.  The year long investigation persists....and currently...blocked.   Now...the AG.... Eric Holder retracts statements....mixes up what he knew...changes the time frame and is caught in the lies.  He wouldn't supply his interoffice memos to the Committee....but supplies thousands of unasked for....blacked out and blank pages.... and useless information.  Three democrats proclaimed today (6-22-12) on FOX News....that America needs to go back and investigate President Bush on this.  Amazing deflection!!!!  Finally, the Prez invokes Executive Privilege over things that supposedly DON"T involve him. 

So...let's see what evolves....will the investigators persist????  Will America learn the real facts?  I believe America can hear the facts of "GunGate".  Can the White House hear them?????

Amazing ......a three year discussion has unfolded both here and on Facebook.  The topic has been...Cabinet...Czars...and advisors to the prez.  This voice has persisted on the lack of experience and balance on the part of these "directors" of the American dream.

I've been writing consistently on those advisors who have a direct connection to the Oval Office.  Interesting to me...in that..... while I've cited facts...and posed questions....my debate partners cite my lack of balance and my intolerance.  Both are "tired" commentary but I've keep commenting.  My concern started with the admission by the Black Panthers that they were at the Polling location....carried clubs....and spoke about who to vote for....but their defense was that they had no ill-intent.  Holder dismissed the case.  Parenthetically....my friend, who is a long-time poll volunteer locally, mentioned to her table mates during a slow period on voting day 2008.....that she hoped more Republicans would show up to vote.  She was dismissed from her volunteer efforts as being a hindrance to the "democratic process"....for making partisan comments.  I'm at a loss at the standards we either ignore or enforce.

 Back to Eric Holder.  Do you remember who was the defender of the building of the mosque at Ground Zero.  Yes...it was Eric Holder who jumped in and again, defended anti-Americans.  That would be C.A.I.R.....also known as the Muslim Brotherhood.  This is the same group who is taking over Libya and Egypt. Meanwhile ....Holder dismisses the case against the Black Panthers.   You decide!

10 months ago after hearing about Fast and Furious....I began the process of watching the news...listing to the left and right....but somewhat suspicious as more and more questions were raised....and less and less real information was disclosed from the AG office.  An American Border Guard was killed because of the actions surrounding F & F.  Sounds important to me...at least.


Now .....almost a year later...guess what??? In the space of just a couple days .....three instances of sworn testimony by the AG in front of Congress have been retracted by AG  Eric Holder......AND....the White House now is exercising Executive Privilege...over the matter.  Senators and the Congressional Committee are pressing for more information....as more revealing information comes to light....retractions come and the White House puts up a wall. America's elected leaders are seeing less and less of the requested information from the AG.  As the lawyer says...."if you have nothing to hide....tell the truth".  This latest blockage is coming from the 2008 "open and transparent" prez!!!!!

I remember a minor incident in the sixties...hardly got noticed for a while....suppressed truth ....you might say.
As soon as the press got wind of it....investigations began...information was hidden.  America demanded to know the truth.  The  Nixon White House was involved.  You might remember the minor incident.....Watergate.  We needed a stand-up president then....and now.  That President ....Richard Nixon.....resigned the Presidency of the United States over that "small" incident.  Goodbye...to Eric Holder.....or maybe Goodbye to........

Public Schools....Did you know??

Here's an ordinary question?   It has to do with school.  Easy answer right?  After all....we've all been to school.  We learned....listened.....played....formed friendships.....graduated.  Go ahead....ask away!!

Here it is...Where does the information which is taught in the classroom come from?  If you said..."text books"....you get partial credit.  If you said..."from the people who write the textbooks".....you get an "A".

The textbooks are written....selectively approved by the State Board of Education...passed on to school districts....given to teachers who select one (1) for each subject.....they are bought with State tax money....placed in classrooms....librarians number them....children cover them with brown paper bags....information goes to your child.   Sound good.... right?????

Here's the reason why I'm writing today.   While, at one time, publishers wrote their books, made a presentation to teachers and local curriculum committees made the initial selections...and the staff decided which one(s) were best.......that process has changed!!  The "openness" of competing publishers has been changed.   The State Board of Education is now deciding which three (3) publishers that teachers will see.  The teacher must choose one of the three pre-screened publishers.  Tax money for purchase will only be given if one of their three is chosen.  Parenthetically, if a school chooses to pick another publisher.....they pay for them from general funds.  Does anyone see a problem developing here??????

Forgive the obvious...the State Board of Education does not have time to read all the publishers.  They must rely on advising minions and lobbyists.  So....depending on the political slant of the Board...the advising group are the  real selectors of what your children learn in the public schools.   Do you think this is good?  Fair?  Unbiased?  Open?  Have you considered the political slant of California over the past few generations??  Who might be appointed to a State Board of Education?  Who might appoint them?  One man listed as an adviser to the State Board of Education....for middle east history....listed USC as his alma Mater.  He helped write the tone and slant on the current Middle East affairs for the approved California State History texts.....perhaps it was Social Studies...its one of those.  Unfortunately....USC can't verify that the adviser has any affiliation with them!!!!!!!!  Bias perhaps?????   Just one example....there are more.

So....today goes on.  Teachers are on summer vacation....textbook publishers are arranging dinners and lunch presentations for the State Board of Education.  Advisers are busy presenting their biased viewpoints in California textbooks.....and your child and grandchildren are going to return to public school in the Fall......and learn about America........really??????  Maybe a private school or home-school possibility could be an option for your family.

Fathers Day 2012...for some peace...others ..no.

I had a great Dad. He died a few years ago. I have many good memories today...wish I could have another coffee with him. I'm drinking an afternoon cup of coffee with his memory now....using his favorite cup. I have no regretful moments with him....none. I have just a longing to hold his hand.....see him pull into my driveway....and hear his laugh....

Recently, we had a man join our 6:00 am Men's Bible Study. He was invited by one of our local sheriffs during a break in court proceedings. He came. The personal issues facing him were huge. It's sufficient to say....huge! During his third meeting with us ....studying the Gospel of John....I had been sharing on the Holy Spirit's love for us. I had some olive oil with me and I asked him if he wanted to be anointed with oil. He said ...yes... so the men joined around him and prayed. He had tears in his eyes and he was more at peace then I remember seeing him. He came two more Wednesday mornings. Two weeks went by and we didn't see him. I got a cell call on Saturday morning...two weeks before today's Fathers Day. This man had hung himself. His son found him. All five of the man's children are numb with grief.

At this point, I have at least 4 more stories to tell about this wrenching and unexplainable story. Someday soon ....maybe....I hope I can tell some of those stories. No story explains the burning unanswered question of this tragedy ....the why? I went to the man's home that day. I offered my best comfort.....God's Word.  I went to the funeral. The grief was thick. The "why" questions persisted. Today is Father's Day. I have great memories of my hero dad. I was there as he passed into God's arms at 87 years old. The children, parents and friends of the man I spoke of.... also have some good memories but they don't have their dad. He is gone too soon...48 years old. Untimely death...gone too soon.

This story is a bit choppy and limited....but it is true....way too true!! If your dad is near....hug him. If he is at a distance...call and speak words of love and appreciation to him. If he is estranged from you....give God a call and see if He can help you to start a healing in the break. God loves healing! If your Dad is gone...hold onto the good....pass on the good....his legacy is alive in you. I will continue to help with the healing in the five children and family I've shared about. I'll need help...I'm confident that there is more to tell... good from evil....healing from pain...light from the dark...

Trying to Compute...not working

I've been following the economy....like you perhaps. I'm watching the home foreclosures...across the country. Isn't almost everyone? The American Dream is tied to owning a home. It's currently very hard to make the dream happen. Young couples paying off college debt, financing a car, trying to pay rent, attempting to buy health insurance and save $30,000 as a down payment for the starter home.....is a struggle. Add this....wife loses job or husband is laid off. At that point moving home with the parents begins to be option "A". It's even worse if a couple bought their home in ....lets say .....1975. Probably one refinance for a kitchen update...college for children...or a wedding or two. It's looking like a mortgage payoff could be coming. Only $18,000 left!!!!!  Sorry......It will never be paid off.

Then prez-"O"...comes on the scene....its 2008. The factory closes in 2009. The early Social Security check and the pension....aren't covering the bills nor the commute to find work. Unexpected layoff for his wife. The 401k is now less than $140 per month. Fuel has tripled....food is up 15%...no work. Unemployment benefits ended in 2011. Payments on the house mortgage stopped in 2011.....this family ceased paying it 9 months ago. In April of 2012....this former Viet Nam veteran and his wife....packed his car trailer with some items .....and drove away from their neighborhood of 37 years. He isn't sure where to go right now....he's considering strongly his 87 years old mother's home for now.

92% of the prez's advisors have never had experience running or managing a business. They are philosophers...intellectuals....university pals....politicians.  If I had made up the foreclosure story for dramatic effect...my bad. Unfortunately.....you know that guy. You know his story....you probably went to school with him. Your kids played together. He is real. His story is occurring about every 20 minutes across the country.

Would you say that the great "HOPE and CHANGE" guy is very over-rated???? His ideas and giveaways and entitlements have failed to help the "HEART and SOUL" guys of the USA. But....the bloated government workers....the slackers ...the gimees....the takers....the illegals...the politicians and the Union leaders....they are smiling. I'm not....this just doesn't compute.

Tea Party ...OMG!!!!

I'm puzzled. Four years ago...prior to the 2008 Election....My friends and I took to the streets of Bishop. Nothing radical....three separate times we took signs supporting our political position and we stood at a stop sign holding our signs. They were very pro- conservative and anti-liberal in their message. I gave lots of thought to the signs based upon the positions both parties were taking.

The signs were supporting the positions reducing taxes.....pro-life....pro-conservative.....pro-people...anti-special interest groups.....pro-individuals.....anti-big-govt. And...coincidentally....That same night I saw something called "Tea Party" Rallies occuring in several large cities. The first night after our "small-town" street-signs, the news showed huge groups of sign-carriers in big cities and the signs looked a lot like ours. Some of the words were the same. The thought crossed my mind that there were lots of people across the United States with very similiar thoughts. I somehow like this feeling I'm getting. Something good is happening to ordinary folks.

The news reports were negative on these national "Tea Party" people. Nobody covered our morning on the streets of Bishop...we did get a reporter on our second outing....but the reporter was repeating how the network news guys were describing us!!!! We were now part of something bad.... this negative group of "radicals". The news reports have persisted for nearly 4 years. They give the same marginalizing comments .....same negative reports. The difference is that the crowds were growing.....are growing....are speaking out....are being encouraged by recognizable folks. The T-P groups were both having fun and uniting under the same positions....big government is destroying America!!

By the way.... that first morning on the streets.....we were a retired school principal, a retired General Motors manager and a Native American man.....this fledgling tea party group contained a very dangerous and "negative" group of three!!!

Now....4 years have passed ....several elections completed.....several primaries done...Tea-Party folks have prevailed and many pro-TP folks are moving to congress...and still ....the anti-Tea-Party drumbeat continues. This has me puzzled. Even Fox News tries to pad their outright amazement. They couch their support with passive-aggressive commentary. Rove....Charles K.....Bill.....I'm a bit at a loss. Is it that hard to say to their viewers.....We are amazed?...or I'm impressed that ordinary people have found their place in politics. ....or I'm cheering for the American conservatives and their desire to be heard......maybe even..... The "little guys" seem to be winning. Some new reasons to join a TP.......O-care...16 Trillion debt...Solyndra...foreclosures....tripled fuel prices....that's just a small sample.

Was there something in Beck's D.C gathering?...spontaneous Tea Parties happening everywhere....unknowns throwing their "hat in the ring" and upsetting the Big boys? Why is this bothersome to the incumbents....the talking heads.....the media....and certainly the elite-left....and creating this weak but persistant backlash against ordinary Americans participating in the American process???? You can perhaps share in my puzzlement. Government seems to be good for the thugs...socialists....arrogant....and change "artists". However....Conservatives in government??? Heaven forbid!!! Unknowns????? Help!!!!

I say....keep doing what you're doing in being a "little guy".....you have a huge vote.... come November. Is there a conservative American Sunami on the horizon???

Bible Burning!

Just a comment on the pastor burning the koran. I am more frustrated by our own government and their tap-dancing routines about separation of church and state.....followed by an obvious negative Christian bias. This deserves comment.

Note again....the government reaction...media comment....over-the-top doom sayers and their comments. Sad to hear O'reilly call the pastor .....repeatedly.....a nut-case and a loon.

It's ok to declare a community Nativity Scene a horrible abuse of the "pretend" separation clause.

It's ok to fire teachers for having a Bible on their desk.

It's ok to suggest court judges might have a "Christian" bias and disqualify them.

It's ok to "litmus test" people on their abortion stance.

It's ok to defend ACORN as providing services to "needy" people regardless of their tactics. Do we need more??? How about Planned Parenthood PAYING the abortion and death industry $300,000 for Birth Control pills but charging the US taxpayer $900,000 to cover other expences and "overhead". Did you catch that??...charge those who oppose abortion...the taxpayer....THREE times the actual cost for birth control pills.

There are more never-covered items to undermine America. Remember the "let me help you set up a "cat-house"....for under age girls and call it a "business". Remember that assistance exposed on film. Heard any follow up lately?....me neither.

So....back to koran-burning. Are you aware that a US soldier requested and received Bibles printed in the native language of Afganistan? They were for local adults who requested a Bible in their native language. Here's the interesting part.....5-5-2009....the Bibles were confiscated by the US Military....AND BURNED!!!! Yep...BIBLES BURNED. Now for the hypocrisy. Burn Bibles ok..burn koran...no way. Our media....our generals....our pres....all are appealing (and threatening) the pastor if he BURNS THE koran. Even the Black Panthers are threatening the pastor....but that's ok...it's always ok to pile-on when Christians are involved.

It isn't that I'm for burning books....but I'm hearing its ok to burn the US flag....it's ok to burn Bibles in Afganistan...we can accept students put in foreign prisons...we can speak "strongly" against be-headings and "honor-killings".but we just don't want to upset the "nice, peace-loving muslims" around the world. You know.....the 911 bombers and their friends....the muslim suicide bombers who didn't think twice when killing their own people in the markets and check-points of Iraq and Afganistan. (That's over 40,000 people blown up...murdered....since 2001).

I say....stand up for our Christian Nation....The United States of America....our values....our constitution.....and let(or send) the "ain't it awful about America people" ... to Third World countries to raise opium...try to make a living...fight off the cartels....live under tyrants or whatever they think is better than living here. Cool it with they threats against our own people....dare we mention Arizona???

Those Anti-American people can then write us about the joys of socialism...tyranny...and dictators in that new country they picked. Write us after ....lets say...three or four years.....give it chance.....don't be in a hurry to run back to this "terrible" capitalist nation. Enough with the hypocrisy in this government....

Haiti's babies and our dilema

Like you, I've been touched by the scenes coming across my television screen this week. I'm especially sad to see the children. I heard with complete shock that Haiti had approxomately 50,000 children in orphanages.....before the earthquake!!!The number now is staggering!

I find a warming in my heart when I see images of rescued babies cradled in the arms of rescue workers! This is good. This is what motivates Americans to act first and act strongly in disasters.....regardless of location. I've seen these scenes before....in faraway places where American soldiers are both fighting and keeping the peace.....they also rise to help the sick and wounded...rescue and comfort children.... Thank you American soldiers.

Here's my deeper hurt.....and my deeper personal conviction. America generously gives....helps rescue....and virtually moves mountains to rescue hurting children and babies in other lands. Simultaneously....our courts and politicians say its ok....even merciful and expedient.....to kill one and a half million American babies each year in abortion clinics all over this land. Thats 1.5 million babies X 39 years..... or 58.5 million babies.....eliminated .....by doctors who promised to "to no harm". I'm finding this hypocrisy cutting deeper and deeper into my soul. The people of the "land of the free and the home of the brave"...kill babies and calls it health care! The country which champions "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"....kills unwanted babies.

This week, I also saw interviews of several families from American cities desperately wanting to adopt babies...even from Haiti. They must seek adoptive children from Haiti, China and Malaysia......not enough babies here.....and too much red tape....and expensive.

Where is justice? Where are the defenders of life? 58 million babies disposed of as football games played out....World Series games unfolded....iPhones were center stage.

We give and we go.....we mobilize and we organize .....we seek to preserve life. That number...... 58 million...... is a large number. It represents America's dilema......and perhaps....our shame.

Here is my dilema to wrestle with...think about....vote about....join me. How is it that soldiers, trained to kill...save babies....and doctors, trained to save lives....kill them???

Saturday night ....and Tuesday is coming!

I'm asking myself does Tuesday's senate election matter? I want to say yes. I'm working on a.... yes...it does.... mentality. I'm thinking....I must be optimistic! I have to believe that some election.....some place.... in our country matters.

Remember Senate votes in Minnesota? Seems whole precincts voted the same. Amazing!! Votes didn't count....politics did. Remember the Black Panthers with clubs at the polling places in Nov. 2008. 15 democrats this week at the hearing said...."They don't matter....no big deal". 48 other incidents regarding 2008 voter intimidation are still awaiting hearings. Mr. Holder is very busy arranging trials for islamic terrorists. (It is 2010...Thanks Mr. Attorney Gen.) How about New York's recent absentee votes in the congressional race.....didn't matter. Heard anything lately on this "too close to call" race? The television media reports this past Friday from Massachusetts politicians (1-15-10)...."Even if the Republican wins in Massachusetts....the outcome won't be certified until after the Healthcare vote". Go back to the rush to seat Al Franken in Minnesota. Remember ACORN? What happened to the multiple votes cast in Minnesota....some even by dead folks? Should we talk about the 12 other states where Acorn influenced voter registration? How's this for current life is America today?

So....Does the vote of Americans count? When I read about men who risked their life so Americans could vote.....who died for America.....who left loved ones to fight in lonely places....who ran into machine gun fire for America....who fought, ate and slept in the bitter winter cold for America...who came home wounded for America....when I read of these heroic men, I'm humbled. And then I think of vote-cheaters and miserable, arrogant "gate-keepers" protecting socialist causes on these same American shores.....I have to work hard to be optmistic.

I want my vote to count. I want your vote to count. Tuesday is coming in Massachusetts.....will the people vote? Who will count the vote? Will the outcome matter? Will we ever really know? I'm working hard on my optimism.

Presidential Management of Major Issues??

As a Middle School Principal I quickly learned that things change quickly on the school campus. Perhaps the operant word here is "common sense". The potential for major problems escalating to crisis status is huge.....even with youngsters. The principal needs to continually know what is going on....who the players are .....and how emanent the coming crisis may be.

The best barometer for the perceptive principal is to be where things are happening. The closer to the source he is, the greater the possibility to de-escalate, de-pressurize or eliminate the stress factors and thereby to neutralize, or at least stabilize, the problem. This sounds downright global in its scope and outcome.

This principal knew the school players well. I knew who needed watching.....who were the reliable informants....when the most man-power was needed....when to act and when to simply be visible....know who is responsible for the chaos and discipline them....and when safely and order is restored..... to enjoy the unique middle school atmosphere.

Things still happen. However.....pre-planning and anticipation of major issues goes a long way toward minimizing the traumatic outcomes. Sitting in the school office and doing nothing is shameful!

When will our administrative leaders apply such elementary lessons of leadership to our country? There is a threat to the well-being of our country. The threat comes in the form of a well-published agenda......destroy America and place it under shariah (islamic) law. Do it "under the radar screen". Recruit sympathic supporters from the mainstream. Spread terror and blame the terror on "overseas fringe" combatants. Use America's "religious freedom" as the smoke screen to operate. Anything like this occuring????

So....who is leading our country through this period? Who is watching? Who is seeking out the disruptive?.....the hateful?.....the terrorists? Who is American? Who are the sympathizers to islam's agenda? Anyone care?

Vote and Run

Several Democratic Party congressmen and senators have truly tipped their hand to America's voters. They have been "on board" the O-train since the beginning and are seeing the disaster of their party's ways. Their supportive votes on bailouts...support for terrorist trials... and a host of other anti-mainstream judge appointments and policies are making the home folks angry. When you add their regular and "airy" justification for not understanding O-Care, let alone a reading of it's maze-like politico-speak....they see it's time to "Vote and Run".

What are the results of their corporate sheeple marching? Debt...lots of it and growing! Unemployment...and lots of it. Lay-offs in virtually every town in America. Un-vetted Czars appointed for everything. Fringe characters regularly visiting the WH. Private, closed door meetings to determine America's future! Terrorists attacking America and killing or trying to kill the innocent. Tyranical leadership in both the House and Senate! Broken promises.

So....what's a senator to do???? "Gee...looks like we're in trouble.....I'm in trouble!! Wait a minute......I've got retirement, health benefits of my own...big bank account....friends in high places. That's it...I'll just "vote and run". Whew....for a couple seconds there , I was nervous. Maybe this situation actually might affect me....maybe I'm responsible....no way...it's someone else's fault....yes...that's it....it's not my fault. Silly me....I'm going home to write my memoirs".

Sarah is a force

The world of politics has prescribed tactics it employs in order for its members to move from one sphere of influence to another. Being popular and "local" is allowed. Influence is limited. Being popular and becoming regional in influence requires permission from Washington's kings and often, the queens. Without previous permission from the political czars, upward moves are strickly forbidden. There is a price to pay in upsetting the "rules".

Last night's interview beteen Greta and Sarah Palin reinforces that in my mind. Sarah seems to care about people. She seems to be interested in America. She seems sincere. She has answers to questions. She is articulate. She has done stuff.

I like people who are honest and have integrity. I like people who defend justice, their faith in God and their country. I tried to teach and model that position for 35 years. I didn't always do the right things. I learned and grew.

I like Sarah's courage and fire. The czars don't like either fire or courage. They like silent tax payers. They fight against both men and women who operate with principles and courage. It frightens them. It upsets their power dreams. It shifts the spotlight away from them.

This coming election will define us as a nation. It will speak loudly as to whether it will be .."we the people".....or we the politicians. Refreshing to me to see folks like Sarah stand tall. I trust there are thousands more.

John Eldredge, Wild at Heart

The encouragement of John Eldredge is powerful for men. His message to men is clear and challenging. Be dangerous for good...dangerous for God. Most Christian men never heard of such a concept. I had never heard anything close to that from any pulpit.

His points of.... being ready to battle....living a big adventure.....and winning our beauty's heart and keeping it....are the stuff of passion and challenge. That call has kindled a new fire in me and many other men with whom I've shared this message. I urge men (and women) to read his book. I'd like to hear your comments!

Graham and Greta Regarding Holder

Trial of KSM in New York

I am dismayed at the power exercised by AG Eric Holder in the matter regarding the upcoming trial of KSM. I watched the senate inquiry of the AG and the questions posed regarding this trial. My dismay is that not only were the questions fair but they were proposed by senators from both sides of the aisle. However weak the liberal side is, they at least posed questions. The answers given by Holder were uninspired and without either passion not conviction. They were rote and scripted.....as if pulled from a distant college lecture.

How does a man arrive at such limited, whimsical and breezy positions.....and be allowed to persist in them without challenge?? When finally asked by Sen. Graham about the precendent used to arrive at a position of offering full court protections and techniques to KSM, there was massive "political speak" given. Sadly, the more he spoke, he deeper the hole of confusion became as to....why was a war terrorist allowed criminal court rights?

Such a trial has never occurred in the history of the United States and Graham stated that fact. Holder just looked bored and uncaring. Holder's response? "I have determined...." Why is a cabinet official allowed to determine on his own to set the precedents affecting American court proceedings? Where is the challenge?

I am dismayed and puzzled as to why the law minds of our nation can't or choose not to....challenge this?

Lt. Gen Wm. Boykin comments 12-29

I watched with interest as Gen. Boykin spoke about Islam. Both his first hand knowledge and opinion serve as a warning and wake-up to America regarding the deceptions of Islam. His comments about the cumulative destructive recent events by Muslims is eye-opening. Their true, imbeded "religious" message, regarding the destruction of all non-muslims, motivates the jihad. The quick-fix for being exalted to "heaven" is martyrdom. Case in point.....Ft. Hood murders, Underware Bomber and proclamations by KSM begin to fit together and force the observer to "connect the dots".

I caught this on God TV last night at the Morningstar Conference. Gen. Boykin has appeared on major networks and FOX as a commentator. This warning was direct and severe. Beginning with the USS Cole and moving forward to Christmas Day 2009....reasonable folks would begin to question National policies regarding Muslims and PC observations by politicians. There is a cold wind blowing. Final note....it was introduced today on FOX that perhaps poverty in Nigeria motivated this bomber....How's that for PC.....And a down-grading of personal responsibility AND a lack of pointing to the source of this potential horror???
